Furthermore, we have absolutely no control over
removing any content from any other site.
How we ensure software downloads free
of spyware, viruses and malware.
All software we add and
update to our directory are scanned by 3 steps at
least.
· Our editors first scanned manually and thoroughly
program files before adding or updating to our
database.
· Auto-scan is turned on monthly on our file server
using PC Cleaner
· Once we receive the safety report from online
scanner or from our customers, we will do manual
scanning with additional anti-virus engines.
Any software program comes up suspicious will be
suspended for download during our scan process and
will be removed once virus confirmed.
How you can protect
yourself
· Utilize antivirus software
We recommend using PC Cleaner to scan, fix, repair
and protect your PC from possible threats. You can

· Install security patches
Vulnerabilities in software are constantly being
discovered and they don't discriminate by vendor or
platform. It's not simply a matter of updating
Windows; at least monthly, check for and apply
updates for all software you use.
· Don’t install unauthorized software
If you find that a software package is needed,
please request it through proper channels and do not
download from sites you are not familiar with.
Before installing, do please scan the file with your
antivirus program.
